As the seasons start to change and the impending holidays are around the corner, I’m feeling very grateful. I’m fortunate to do what I do and to work with incredible clients, vendors and partners (like our talented architects, artists and builders). The positive creative energy is what makes it all worth it, otherwise why bother, right? I’m also very grateful for my incredible team who supports me and our clients every day, I’m always in awe of your talent.

I can’t think of anything better than gathering around a table for hours telling stories, sharing a meal (no matter if it’s good or bad!) and having a lot of laughs! I’m looking forward to spending time with my family for thanksgiving and hope you all have wonderful plans with those you love.

I loved that our last night in Milan was spent touring the family home of @cabanamagazine founder & editor, Martina Mondadori. The luxurious interiors, designed by Italian designer Renzo Mongiardino, are filled with color, pattern and incredible materials on the furniture, walls and ceilings. The wood paneled walls and detailed trim add to the layers of detail that’s a feast for the eyes. I could’ve spent hours exploring all the objects and details inside this beautiful home. Thank you @martinamondadori for your warm welcome and opening your home to us.

Our second day in Milan with @designleadershipnetw

Our second day in Milan with @designleadershipnetwork continued with a visit to Armani Casa Milano to view their new furniture collection and have an elegant lunch. Next was a stop at the new showroom for Loro Piana Interiors to see their furniture introductions and sumptuous fabrics in their signature colors. As we toured through the offices, we got a BTS moment of a photo shoot happening for their new fashion line, it was really amazing to watch!

Special thanks to @itsssmeghan @michaeldiazgriffith for their hard work in putting the Milan excursion together with access to private homes, Designers, Architects and Vendors we’d never be able to see on our own.
